Of the Italian Lakes, slender, forked Lake Como (Lago di Como) comes most heavily praised; it’s a “treasure which the earth keeps to itself” wrote William Wordsworth. This has been the retreat of choice for hard-pressed urbanities for a couple of thousand years at least; Virgil knew of the lake, then called Lacus Larius (and still referred to today as Lario), while the Roman general Pliny had two villas here, one near Lenno, the other at Bellagio, and wrote in glowing terms of the natural beauty all around. The combination of forested mountains and blue water and sky remains bewitching.

Tour schedule:
The guide will pick up you at Cascina Gobba tube stop (on the Green Line MM2) with the van and drive you out of the city to the starting point of the tour. You will enjoy the beauty of the Lake and its small towns like Bellagio and Varenna. It will looks like magic! If you are well trained there are fantastic mountains to climb in that area, especially the Ghisallo with his famous cyclists Church and the awesome cycling museum on the top! If you don’t like to climb, or you think that is too much for you, don’t worry! We can provide you a fantastic e-bike to climb like a Champion! At the end of the tour you will be taken back at your accommodation by van to enjoy the relax in Milano.
